Privacy & how Waterline works
Your privacy and your choices
Waterline is designed around Canadian privacy principles — PIPEDA and Alberta’s PIPA: consent, collecting only what’s needed, using messages only for coaching, safeguards, and your control. The AI provider processes messages outside Canada, in the United States, disclosed here so you can decide whether to use the virtual coach. This is a design commitment, not a claim of certification or guaranteed compliance.
- Use “Export my data” in Settings to keep a copy of your work.
- You can delete any thread from “Your threads”. Deleted conversations can’t be recovered.
- Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes what’s saved on this device.

- Waterline is for adults 18 and over.
- Leave other people’s details out of your messages — use first names, initials or made-up names, and skip organization names.
- The optional email is used only to sign you in.
- Reaching Larry or Ginette opens an email, so they’ll see your address — and they’ll use it only to reply.
